Hitachi Grand Prix of Sweden 1973 Scandinavian Raceway Anderstorp. Sweden's first Formula 1 race was run in scorching sun on this bog that became world famous. Ronnie in his black and gold Lotus had high expectations. Ronnie Peterson was in Pole Position. In the final laps when he was in the lead from the start, luck grinned at him with a sneak puncture and he was beaten by Denny Hulme New Zealand, but a second place pleased the packed stands and the crowd around the 4km track. Third was François Cevert from France.
